Bringing raw, authentic energy to the label, PnK Banarasiya connects deeply with audiences through unapologetic storytelling.
Pragyanand Kaushik, better known by his stage name PnK Banarasiya, is an Indian independent singer, songwriter, and rapper hailing from the ancient streets of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
PnK's journey into the entertainment world began uniquely. He first started his career as a mimicry artist, and on January 27, 2016, he launched his own YouTube channel where he steadily built an audience by uploading cover songs alongside his comedy sketches.
In 2019, Banarasiya released 'Neelkanth Mahadev,' a pivotal track that officially marked his transition into the Hip-Hop genre. The song resonated with his growing audience, racking up over 7,500 views on YouTube and establishing his raw, authentic voice in the Desi Hip-Hop scene.
His collaborative footprint continued to expand, and on March 20, 2021, he collaborated with Tune Therapy Records founder RJ Khan, featuring on the emotive tracks 'Pehli Mulaqat' and 'Sahara Mil Gaya' from the 2021 album Take Two.
Today, as a core member of Tune Therapy Records, PnK's lyricism tackles real-world hardships, betrayal, and resilience. He continues to push the boundaries of Indian alternative rap, ensuring that every track is not just a song, but a movement.
